Meeting Minutes:

1. Dave Finet began the meeting with a description of the need for the Phoenix to switch to an equity system.
1. Equity system v. membership.
2. Also discussing the comparison of the Ann Arbor co-op market environment in comparison to Phoenix's current situation.
2. A member ask: What other financial responsibilities arise with the purchase of an equity share in the co-op.
3. General topics of discussion:
1. Updating the membership database.
2. Membership incentives.
3. Membership communication.
4. New marketing strategies and website improvements.

5. Results for the vote on the Phoenix Earth Food Co-op's change over to an equity system:
   1. There were 39 ballots (14% of the membership,) all yes, in favor of an equity system.
      1. John Klear and Tammy Brander, having not had the chance to vote at the meeting, voted via e-mail.
      1. Bring the total to 41 yes votes.
      2. Yvonne Goodwin paid $200.
      3. Hermann von Grafenstein pledged up to $1000 for one advert.
6. Additional Material:
   1. There is the matter of already made payments, not only those in answer to the pledge drive, but life members, and the latest membership fee.
   2. Among other things, what do we do with Amy Adamczak's $40? Above all, what about the 17 life members, who, as far as I in the roster see, to the coop contributed at least $200 (one maybe only $150) above the membership fee?
