Reports:

Treasury. No real report (treasurer JS busy with Goodwill). He handed out income statement and balance sheet. He hopes in time for a condensed financial statements

General Manager absent in Austin for a meeting. She leaves printed report (attached), and announcement of in June quitting. A committee of JK, TB, and SS is formed for deciding what to do about her quitting.

Old Business

Jackson loan. JS: The estate s representative is enthusiastic about the loan s being paid off. We would get new loan from other coöps, from Dave Finet s ELFCO. We shall ask what we pay for 36mo, 48mo, … loan. SS: NCGA resources? JS: We have not enough equity for bank loan; a personal guarantee would be demanded.

            NCGA/CBLD program, membership update

New Business

Sylvania-Ave construction. SR: From March through October Sylvania Ave will be under construction, and in September the city sent a letter, but only now he learns of it.

With Sylvania-Av traffic lessened, the coöp is threatened. Maybe it is better to move. There is on Central Av an idle coffee shop, but the owner wants $1800/mo for 2500' (over our 2000'), and that the license for offering soup be kept up. The nearby retail is mostly Foodtown and Churchill s grocery—too much like our coöp?

Not all gear is fit for keeping on moving—or moving it is quite costly.

It would be good to ask V. Murphy about the one who gives classes on grants (for our moving).

Carol Collins of the NCGA suggests bulk sharing during the roadwork.

SS: the biggest obstacle to moving is the deciding. We all activly look!

Website. Shall we in a questionnaire ask the membership what is wanted?

It is needful that AY in e-mail authorize JS, JK, and SR to Buckeye.

Is Hermann v Grafenstein yet paying for the website? LF: there is a monthly payment to Buckeye, although the coöp s own Internet is through AT&T.
