PEFC Board Meeting 5/25/2016

In attendance: Tiffany, Shelly, Adrienne, Sean, Sandor, Hermann, Caitlyn, Tom, Leah, Marilyn Burnstein

• Approval of minutes and review of past action items
  MSC
• General Manager's report
  Sean excited about the upcoming Blade article on hemp. Many repairs have taken place.
• Outreach report
  Adrienne, lots of fun outreach events including the Party for the planet, plant swap and March against Monsanto. More to come this summer. Coloring book in the works.
• Financial report
  Tom and Leah, sales down 4% from last year. Net sales in the black but many unpaid bills including repairs.
• Aquaponics
  Alyx and Nic, FDA and health department OK. Going ahead later this summer.
• Wild-food initiative
  Hermann, moving forward.
• Jackson Loan lawsuit
  Hermann and Tom placed a call to Mr. Ciolek. The Jackson estate has offered ⅓ payment asap. Answer will be sent.
• General Manager’s evaluation—starting the process
  Hermann, A form for evaluation was brought up. An executive committee will meet once a month while evaluation of the manager is ongoing.
• Summary of action items going forward
  Semi-Annual Potluck will be 6/26/6 at 3pm. Place to be determined. Possibly Leah's house.
