Anita Levin, Alyx Kendzierski, and Tiffany Hubbell were absent.

At 6:43pm the meeting was called to order by Hermann von Grafenstein, board president

  1. The minutes were approved as amended.
  2. Sean was at the NCG meeting. He spoke of the watch list of at-risk co-ops, and the offer to set up one point-of-sale system throughout, and that the Great-Lakes group volunteered to be the first.
  3. Tom pointed out about the NCG dividend, which has no cash value to us, that it hid the now all too usual loss. Leah has not decided where it belongs.
  4. No news from Mockensturm (about treating the Jackson loan in our records).
  5. Tom spoke of sale to Royce; (expensive) appraisal needed, inspection needed
  6. Wild food was not discussed. Claudia will ask whether delivery to Kahle senior center is of use.
  7. The vegan meetup was of help. Hal & Adrienne will repeat on Oct 18 w/ crockpot vegan chili and pumpkin bread. The plant swap is on October 7. Claudia offered to make up a recipe binder, for these and the tastings, too.
  8. Hermann composed a new letter about the yearly meeting, for sending to members.

At 7:51pm the meeting was adjourned.

Halász Sándor, acting secretary and board V.P.
