Certification of a quorum -6:53 PM - Meeting called to Order by the President, Hermann Von Grafenstein

  1. Approval of Minutes-Minutes of 2020 Annual Meeting were approved as corrected. MSC-R
  2. State of Coop - President Hermann Von Grafenstein reported that we purchased existing building and adjacent lot, thru a mortgage held by Real Phoenix LLC and financed by Coop members at the minimum IRS allowable interest rate. We now are faced with upgrades and repairs to the building and finding funding sources for these. We held a very well attended 30th-Anniversary Celebration in the garden, The Garden is/has produced food for the Coop thanks to many Coop volunteers, a mural is planned and building painting soon. We now have a functioning POS system in the Coop, a Technology Committee planning implementation of online ordering
  3. General Manager Report -Sean Fitzgerald discussed POS system that is now online and his hopes for continued growth of the Coop.
  4. Finance Report - Tom Fine reported on the precarious financial position of the Coop and the need to increase sales.
  5. Officers and Board Members INTRODUCTIONS -
  6. NOMINATIONS FOR COOP BOARD - 3 positions open on the Board and 4 candidates. Claudia Cooper, AlyxKendierski, Varshana Meyer, Monika Perrywere nominated. Each candidate said a few words about their interest in the Coop Board position before elections were held.

    Elected were Monika Perry, Varshana Meyer, & Alyx Kendierski.

    Claudia Cooper and Shelley Boraby were thanked for their many years of service on the Board and urged to continue involvement with the Coop thru the many Committees. All the Committees are open to all Coop members and all members are encouraged to participate. All Members may also attend Board Meetings usually held the 4th Wednesday of the month except for Oct, Nov and Dec. The next Board meeting will be held Nov 30, 2022 at 6:30 PM by Webex.

  7. New Business -Discussed fundraising ideas and possible By-Law changes. Members also suggested increased advertising, including digital billboards and a Social Media Coordinator.
